Here is a requested tutorial, actually requested a few times and I had some fun making this one (as I always do!). Anyway in this video we will look at creating and editing gradients, using blend modes with effects, creating and editing masks, and the click and drag multiple shapes tip using the tilde (`) key. Be sure to stay and watch the entire video as I throw in a bonus tip/ afterthought to the tutorial right at the end. Check out Tutvid.com for more great video tutorials! 1. Photoshop creates bitmapped graphics, which is good for modifying “photographic” images

Illustrator is a vector-based drawing program, it creates vector objects with anchor points which are ultimately editable, and never “leave” the structure of the file

if you need to modify “photographic” images then you should choose Photoshop. if you want to create complicated graphics then Illustrator is the one.

they share certain capabilities but also complement each other with unique ones.

I also have a macbook. You can create a similar effect by going to Effect – Distort & Transform – Transform and fiddling around with the copies and angles. Worked for me.

  5. I did noticed when I made a circle while pressing ~ if I go real fast , there are fewer lines. If I make my circle slow while pressing ~, it is more dense with lines. CS5
