Exporting a cdr file or a part or selection from the file to a jpeg image… save a cdr to jpeg

Originally the file was photo.jpg which i uploaded onto CorelDRAW X3 and made changes on it. But when i saved it , i wasn’t able to save it as a .jpg. Instead it saved it as a photo.cdr but i need it to be a photo.jpg

As a .cdr it seems to have increased to 100 kb That’s not what i want.

In CorelDraw, while the file is open, go to File, then choose Export Command. Choose Save as type as JPEG in the Export box.
If you want to export only the image instead of full page, do not forget to draw box exactly around your artwork/photo with no fill and no outline color. So you will get only that box size jpeg.
